This course is directed to applications of fluid mechanics and hydrology, which provides students with knowledge of engineering practices for water facilities design and management. It provides a basic introduction to hydraulic processes, and the design of the hydraulic systems. Topics covered include the life prediction of a reservoir, pressured pipe flows, and open-channel flows. By the end of this course, the students will be able to well understand the fundamentals, standard techniques, and data in the further design of the hydraulic system.
